Good things are just around the corner

Yes, like what we had promised, we provide the best to our children. From our party pack to our gifts and prizes. Everything is of good condition and brand new.

These are the gifts from SWO given to our children. We are very happy as we managed to get sponsorship from the manufacturer on school bags as well as other school supplies.

This year, we have received many applications from the underprivileged children who are in need and wants to study. 103 children were shortlisted.
SWO is sponsoring school supplies to 103 children in prepare for 2017 school year.
These are the things :
  1. School Bag
  2. Water Bottle
  3. Stationery
  4. School Uniforms
  5. Caps
Here, we have Under Armour, Nike, Adidas school bags ; Stainless Steel water bottle; Adidas and Nike cap.

Under Armour school bags + Stainless steel water bottle + Nike cap

Adidas school bag + Stainless Steel water bottle + Adidas cap

Nike school bag + Stainless Steel water bottle + Nike cap

And these are for our children
2 types of school uniforms, school bags, stainless steel bottle, pencil case, socks, school shoes and stationery. SO COOL RIGHT?! The kids will be so delightful to receive their gifts.

Besides that, SWO was giving out brand new MP4 to the lucky ones too. MP4 for the children to store their favourite music and e-books, and also able to do recording using MP4.

Many people do not understand why we are giving out so many gifts to our children. From top quality school bags to MP4. We are doing it not because we want to lavish our money on our children or to make them look lavish going to school. But because our children do not have the opportunity to enjoy these fine things, we decided to give these generous gift to them. Most of them have not seen a MP4 before, some do not even know what is a MP3.

Do you know that the children are so happy and get so hyped when they receive these gifts? The children wear their widest smile throughout the night, the moment when they receive their party pack until the moment they receive the gifts and prizes.

"Appreciation"
Sometimes you don't APPRECIATE what you have because you are too focused on what you want.

Most of the time, we don't appreciate what we already have, but we still want more.
What we want for ourselves, we are able to get it so easily. TOO EASY!
We want a car, we got it.
We want a boyfriend/girlfriend, we had it.
We want marriage, we did it.
We want education, we got it.

But do we appreciate what we have? Most of the time, NO.

We want a car, but we complain  about it some time later.
We got a boyfriend/girlfriend , but we want more from him/her.
We got into marriage, but after that, we complain about each other, we argue, we fought.
We received education, but we complain, we flunk our exams.

But what do these children have?
They don't have a laptop; they don't have a computer; they don't have a play station; they don't have Nike/Adidas/UnderArmour ; they only uses plastic water bottle and they don't know what is TUPPERWARE nor BROS.

Their smile was priceless when they received their school supplies.

From this event, I realise that I am very fortunate all this while.

I want a laptop, I got it without working hard.
I want a smartphone, I got it without paying with my own money.
I want a car, and I got it without paying anything.
Everything come to me, so easily.

But I never appreciate it, never did I respected what I received.
I always want more, always one the "best" because I always THINK that the things I have are not the best, not the top quality products.

AND GUESS WHAT?
The more you do not appreciate, the more you do not respect what you received, you will face many problems and obstacles.

Let me share my experience to you.
Few years back, I bugged my dad to get me a smartphone. And he did. So I told him I want the best in terms of its features and specifications. Then, my dad bought me a  SONY mid-range smartphone, with normal camera, 4.4 inch display screen, and normal Dolby audio sound. I was so angry because it was not what I wanted, so I questioned him, but he said either I take it or he is going to give it to someone else. I have no choice, so I decided to use the phone.
In that period of time, I did not respected the phone nor appreciated it. I simply threw my phone and always hoping to get a better phone than it.
Guess what?
That phone always shut down itself, system crushed, battery problem. And I spent a lot of money in repairing it. After repaired, the something happens again.

Cut the long story.

I got a new phone (which I am still using it for almost 2 years). It is still in a very good condition except that sometimes I tend to overcharge my phone and the battery overheat. But overall, it is still in a top condition. I learnt to appreciate what I have and I never compare myself to my friends who owns better phone than me.

Ever since I know Mr Arul, I learnt to appreciate whatever I have; whatever I listened, whatever knowledge I gained; whatever I've seen and whatever I have spoken. When I learn to appreciate, good things come unexpectedly.

Charmain.

Hello readers!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas over the weekend.
On the other side of the hand, SWO and its team had a great Christmas celebration

It's a wrap for SWO Children of the Future - "Give a child a gift of education " event. We are proud to announce that our 2nd Charity Event is a SUCCESS. We would not be able to achieve it without our corporate and business sponsors.

With the help of our event sponsors, we managed to give our children wonderful gift, goodie bags and game prizes! The sponsored items from the companies were greatly appreciate and our team make sure that the gifts and sponsored items are of good qualities and then package them nicely.

We are giving out brand new tumblers and lunch boxes to our children so that our children are able to fill their water in a proper tumbler instead of using plastic mineral bottle. These brand new lunch boxes and tumblers were sponsored by KIA HONG Sdn Bhd. Lunch boxes were given to our children as well. So that, parents are able to prepare breakfast and lunch for their kids.
SWO found out that most of the children in Malaysia do not have their proper meal before they go to school. Therefore, we want to create awareness on this matter to our children and their parents. Thus, lunch boxes were given out to encourage our children and parents on this matter. It is our responsible to take care of our children's welfare for they are the children of the future.

Well, we have another sponsor as well - Miss Kit and Miss Kate, together with their family. They had sponsored us prune juice, biscuits, snacks, sweets etc. Prune juice, thirst quenching drink for the guest at the event.

Besides that, we have different, unique flavors of sweets too. Some of it are imported product from Japan. This will give our children a big smile on their face, which they receive something different than the usual ones. All these are included in the party pack for the guests.

Treats for the children!

2 different flavors of Jelly, Milk and Orange flavors

Milk and Yogurt Candy.
Something different for the kids.

We also have Coffee candy, Banana stick candy and also lollipop,
which every child would love it !

The night before the event, our volunteers helped to sort out all the candies and jellies, and packed it nicely with silver shimmering bag, which suits the Christmas theme!

TAADAA!
Here comes our party pack for our children!

Sweets for the start of a wonderful new year !!

A very big THANK YOU to those who took their time, came all the way down from Singapore, as well as Kuala Lumpur to help us out on packing, and preparing for the event. Although the preparation was heavy, everyone of us are happy to lend our helping hand for packing, cutting, sticking, giving out ideas and suggestions to make sure our event went well. We laugh, and we enjoy ourselves very much in the process.

" TEAMWORK " is very important.
Because, no man is a one man show.
When there is teamwork, there will be good coordination and communication between the team members. Although there were some communication errors in between, but we managed to make this event happen. We were given 2 weeks notice that there will be a charity event on the 24th Dec 2016. Of course we only had 1 to 2 weeks time to plan and prepare everything. Due to teamwork from the committees and volunteers, SWO are able to delegate jobs to one another with ease, come out with idea on how to go about it in this event, as well as get everything prepared ( such as gifts, prizes, media & photography services) within a week.

There is a saying goes by, " Every ship needs a Captain. You can have all the strongest, smartest, fastest sailors on board. But without a captain, the ship goes nowhere as the captain knows where to go. "

" PATIENCE "
is not the ability to wait but how you act while you're waiting

It is important to have patience as well. Patience is about how you act while you're waiting or when you face difficulties or obstacles in what you are doing.
Even though there are a lot of preparations to do, and we made a lot of mistakes during the preparation, we did not point our fingers to each other nor we vent our anger out or blame each other. Instead, we get together to rectify the issue and then focus and get things done efficiently.

Thank you Mr Arul, our Captain who gave us directions on how to go about it in making this event a success.
Also, thank you to Mr Chris and Ms Joyce in guiding and supervising us on the event as to make sure everything went well from the beginning till the end of the event.
And of course, we appreciate all of our volunteers who are also the supporters of the event.

More pictures will be posting up soon. Stay tune for our next post!

Captain's assistant.

Few weeks ago, I asked my friend to buy a packet of Carrot and Starfruit for me since she's going to replenish food for our office pantry. She gave me a "huh" look, and asked me who eats raw carrot in this office. So, I told her I eat raw carrots.

And, everyone look at me like,

That's right. Carrot has become my snack. So, whenever I am hungry and wanted to munch something. I will cut 2 pieces of carrots and a piece of starfruit beside my working desk. You will see a huge effect within a day and you'll be surprised.

We, SWO encourage our readers and clients to eat 2 carrots a day, together with our vinegar products such as B12, HT, T-Vinegar, CP, Asu etc.

First thing first, why we encourage our clients and readers to eat 2 carrots a day? Because it contains high vitamin A ( also known as Beta Carotene / Carotenoids )

What is Beta Carotene?
Beta Carotene is a carotenoids. It is a type of pigment and it provides vibrant color to plants - fruits and vegetables. It also act as an anti-oxidant and also able to convert to Vitamin A once ingested.

  1. It helps to improves vision
    - Vitamin A which is converted in the liver, will then transformed in the retina to rhodopsin which is necessary for night vision.
    - It also protects against Macular Degeneration and also Senile Cataract.
Fact: People who consumes large amount of beta-carotene will face a lower risk of getting                  Macular Degeneration compare to those who consumes little.
  2. It helps to prevent cancer
    - Reduce the risk of getting lung cancer, breast cancer and colon cancer
    - It also helps to prevent infection on wounds and cuts
Fact: Falcarinol is a natural pesticides in order to protect against from fungal diseases.
  3. Act as anti- oxidant
    - It neutralizes free radical and slows down aging of cells.
Fact: Deactivating reactive oxygen species to human health, to prevent diseases such as cancer and coronary heart diseases.
  4. Promotes healthier skin
    - It protects the skin from sun damage due to Vitamin A and Anti-oxidant
    - It also prevents premature wrinkling, acne, dry skin, pigmentation, blemishes and uneven skin tone.
Fact: Deficiency in Vitamin A will lead to dry skin, hair and nails.
  5. Prevents heart disease
    - Helps to lower the risk of heart disease
    - Reduces cholesterol level as soluble fibers are bind with the bile duct
Fact: Besides Beta- Carotene, carrot also contains alpha-carotene and lutein.
  6. Detox body
    - Helps the liver to flush out toxins from the body
    - Reduces the bile and fat in the liver
Fact: Carrot fibers help to cleanse the colon and hasten the waste movement from the body.
  7. Protects gum and teeth
-Cleans the teeth and gum by scraping off plaque and food particles like toothbrush
    - Prevents tooth damage by balancing acid-forming and cavity-forming bacteria.
-Helps to stimulate gum and saliva gland.
  8. Prevent stroke
  9. Lower blood pressure
    - Minerals found in carrot are able to relax the tension or blood vessels and arteries.
    - Coumarin found in carrots are able to reduce hypertension.
  10. Strengthen body immune system
    - Act as an anti-septic and anti-bacterial to boost the immune system
    - Stimulates the activity of white blood cells

Well of course, I did the experiment as well.
Like what I told, I eat 2 carrots, 1 starfruit and together with HT Vinegar.
I was amazed by the outcomes.

So, here is my testimony, with 2 carrots + HT Vinegar + Starfruit  To be honest, I am able to focus on my work without feeling tired and exhausted for the whole day. My mind is very alert and it helps to increase my work productivity and efficiency. Besides that, it also stimulates my bowel movement and I able to go to the toilet 3 times a day as it helps to cleanse what was inside. That came to my surprised, actually. Definitely, you will not feel hungry at all. Together with the starfruit, it actually helps to stimulate my bladder.

What are you waiting for?
Quickly try this healthy snacks during at home or office. People who has under active bladder and severe constipation is recommended to try this snack recipe for a month. You can try it without vinegar, but drink plenty of water.

If you want to know more about HT Vinegar, or any vinegar products, do not hesitate to contact me at swomalaysia@gmail.com
